There’s so much gay filled within its borders that the 2010 US Census declared Wilton Manors as the second gayest place in the USA! It came second only to its fellow East Coast gay city of Provincetown, Massachusetts. Moreover, it’s also home to the Stonewall National Museum & Archives, one of the country’s largest gay archives and libraries.
Now, Wilton Manors might be a separate city, but it’s also a suburb and the gay neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale! Besides having a thriving and buzzing nightlife, it also has a rather proactive LGBT Chamber of Commerce. What’s more, there are many gay hotels in Wilton Manors, Fl, despite the city being hardly 20 blocks wide! Oh, and did we mention that the entire city council is gay? Yes! If that wasn’t enough, Wilton Manors is also home to the Pride Center, which is a safe haven for the LGBTQ community.
The charming city of Wilton Manors is the most famous gayborhood in all of South Florida! The two forks of the Middle River basically form the borders of this wonderful city.
